Apple could launch the iPhone 16 Pro in a new rose shade, replacing the iPhone 15 Pro’s blue titanium color. The other color options should remain similar, though they might have a different hue. For the iPhone 16 series, Apple might offer a new white shade, while retaining the iPhone 15‘s four other color options.
The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro color case predictions come from TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. He thinks Apple might change the marketing names of certain colors this year. And even if it does not, the analyst thinks they “may look different,” he wrote Sunday on X.
iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro color options leaked
Apple offers the iPhone 15 Pro in blue titanium, natural titanium, black titanium and white titanium. The iPhone 16 Pro could trade the blue for a new rose titanium shade, which should resemble pink, while retaining the other colors. The company last used the rose gold shade on the iPhone 8.
Right now, you can get the iPhone 15 in pink, but Pro models have not been available in this shade for a few years now. Kuo predicts the iPhone 16 Pro will launch in black, white, gray and rose colors.
As for the iPhone 16 and its Plus sibling, Kuo predicts they will launch in black, green, pink, blue and white. Barring white, the iPhone 15 is already available in the other four colors, with Apple planning to drop yellow from its lineup this year.
iPhone 16 might bring small but functional design changes
The color tweak is just one of the many design-focused changes Apple plans to make on the iPhone 16 lineup this year. The Pro models reportedly will sport bigger displays than their predecessors, with the iPhone 16 Pro Max packing a massive 6.9-inch panel.
Rumors also indicate Apple will add a force-sensitive Capture button to the iPhone 16 series. The button purportedly will react based on the pressure applied. On the non-Pro iPhone 16, the most significant design change should be the redesigned camera hump.
