However, this contradicts a previous report that said an OLED iPad Air would be out in 2026.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: If you’re not elevating your laptop, iPad and displays on mounts and arms, you’re limiting your computer setup. Today’s feature MacBook Pro and iPad setup illustrates the point well by putting those devices and dual displays on four separate mounts, some with moveable arms.
That makes all of those devices more flexible, and much easier to move around than they would be on stationary stands. It also frees up space on the desk.

The top-of-the-line iPad Pro models will reportedly get the enhanced display type much sooner, though.

The upgrades could help boost iPad shipments to between 52 million and 54 million units in 2024, up from about 50 million in 2023.

I moved to a new home over the weekend, and in it I’ve already built a new workstation. What better time to revamp things? Actually, it’s more like another stage in my computer setup’s herky-jerky evolution.

Apple’s iPad Pro lineup is too expensive for regular users. Opting for the Pro model makes little sense if you want a tablet for everyday use.
This is where the iPad Air comes in, which offers almost the same internals as its Pro siblings at a lower price point. And if you take advantage of Amazon’s latest deal, you can save up to $149 on a new M1 iPad Air.

Although people are still buying millions of iPads, the numbers are down compared to where they were during the pandemic.
Still, Apple is doing a much better job of selling tablets than any of its rivals. During the second quarter of this year, it shipped about twice as many as any other company, according to a pair of market research firms.
