Of course, I’m sure that in reality yesterday’s review had nothing to do with this whatsoever, but right off the back of me slagging off the Dragon’s Den game for iOS, an update has arrived to address some of its issues – and it no longer sucks quite as much as it did.
In my review I noted that one of the biggest problems with this game is that it’s over far too quickly. Version 1.1 addresses this with a ‘continue’ option that allows you to play back-to-back episodes for as long as you want to – ending the game whenever you like by choosing the ‘retire’ option.
Each episode has also been extended in length from a measly 3 pitches to a more acceptable 5, however, I’d still like to be able to customize this myself.
All in all this update makes a huge difference. It’s still lacking a few features that could make the game even better, but with new ‘continue’ feature alone this game has been vastly improved.
