Here’s an easy one. At some point or another we all need to take a screenshot. It’s just inevitable. Error message, funny photo, epic DM fail, something…we need to do it. Heck I do it on a near daily basis. Now, do you really think any self-respecting Mac user would just use the default screenshot tools built into OS X?

Nope. We all use something a step up better. Now it’s your turn with today’s freebie!—Free Onde Screen Capture App for Mac – Cult of Mac Deals. Get it while it lasts!

The built in screen capture works wonderfully…I dunno what you are talking about.

This is what bloatware on a mac is.

Command-Shift-3 and Command-Shift-4 just bested this free app.

I consider myself a power user, and I can’t think of anything better than Cmd+Shift+3 and Cmd+Shift+4 for screen captures. Simple, easy, and it drops the screen caps right on the desktop. Honestly I’m starting to wonder about CulfOfMac.com. You push unnecessary OS X apps like this, or iOS apps that have average 1-2 star reviews by actual users (see WTHR, the supposedly awesome weather app). How much are these companies paying for reviews on this site?

Why would you need another tool to take screenshots? Mac’s built in shortcuts are pretty straight forward… Where is the “This is a paid post” message? seriously, it’s been enough of shitty app reviews.

I’ll trust you on this on Cult Of Mac… hope I don’t get more spam in my email account for doing this.

It’s NOT free! After filling out forms and being shunted around before getting the download it’s just another 15-day not-fully-operational demo scam.
