Normally Amazon bargain site Woot! — now 20 years old, by the way — puts across scads of Apple-related sale items in bursts. But today we found just one true deal. You can get new “Black Box” iPhone 15 models for hundreds off, but only until they sell out.

As someone moping around with a positively ancient iPhone 13 Pro, Woot’s sale holds some appeal. Sure, Apple will unveil a whole new lineup of iPhone 16 models in a matter of weeks, but an iPhone 15 would still be new to me. Unfortunately, though, it lacks the computing muscle to handle Apple Intelligence features, which will require iPhone 15 Pro and up when they roll out this fall. But it’s still a great smartphone.
