Beats Pill deal: Get one-third off on portable Bluetooth speaker
Beats revived its portable Bluetooth speaker lineup in 2024 with this updated Pill. Featuring a new IP67-certified design, the Beats Pill sounds better than its predecessors (and lasts a lot longer, too).

Beats Pill’s 2024 redesign, previewed before launch in the hands of NBA star Lebron James, amped up the power but kept the speaker in today’s featured deal sleek and lightweight.
“We wanted to do something special with the Pill and completely re-architect and reimagine it,” said Oliver Schusser, Apple VP of Apple Music, Apple TV+, Sports and Beats, at the time. “It wasn’t a case [of] let’s swap out one or two things. We really wanted a complete refresh. This is a completely new product inside, and outside as well.”
The previous Pill+ sported dual woofers and dual tweeters, both circular in shape. The new Beats Pill in this deal features a single racetrack woofer and single tweeter capable of delivering louder sound with lower distortion. That’s in part because the woofer displaces almost twice the air. The speaker also features stronger neodymium magnets, which help drive cleaner bass.

The new model manages to be lighter, louder, more water- and dust-resistant (now IP67) and twice as long-playing (24-hour battery life) than Beats Pill+, released in 2015 as a Beats 2.0 replacement and retired in January 2022. With the new model, Beats even dropped the list price by $80 to $150. But with the current Beats Pill deal, the final price drops to just under $100.
You can choose from five cool colors: champagne gold, dark gray, light gray, matte black and statement red. At the current discount of $50 off the regular price of $149.95, the price drops to just $99.95 (33% off).
