That’ll keep a lot of peripherals charged and moving data. It comes in handy if you carry a lot of gadgets around, or even if you just have a lot of them infesting your workstation.
Plugable 7-in-1 USB-C Charging Hub
Plugable’s new USB-C charging hub turns your MacBook into a bit of a power station for your other devices. At the same time, it also gives you SuperSpeed USB-A file sharing between those gadgets and the laptop. That’s convenient for folks like business users and students.
Each of the seven USB-A charging passthroughs puts out 2.4A of power when the hub is plugged into an outlet. When plugged into a MacBook, each port puts out 1.5A per port.
Every one of the USB-A ports also allows file-transfer speeds up to 5Gb/s for when you need to move documents or other data around.
The hub comes with a built-in USB 3 to USB-C adapter. It’s also compatible with every major operating system, including, macOS, Windows and Linux.
