A wall switch can turn on a light or two, but the Wemo Stage Scene Controller from Belkin can activate an entire scene, controlling lights, thermostats, music and other devices all around the house.

It ties into Apple’s HomeKit home automation system allowing someone to press a single button to launch their movie night scene, or wake their house up in the morning, for example.

Up to six scenes can be controlled with short or long presses on the three-button remote. The same changes can be made with Siri, or from in Apple’s Home app, of course, but Belkin’s device offers push-button convenience.

The battery-powered Wemo Stage Scene Controller can be clipped into a wall mount or carried around the home.

This Wemo accessory launched Tuesday on Belkin’s website. It sells for $49.99.

It joins other HomeKit products from Belkin, like the Wemo WiFi Smart Plug.
And the company makes a range of other home automation accessories.
