The “dual” in its name refers to the two drive bays, which can take 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SSDs or HDDs. It includes built-in hardware RAID.
The OWC Mercury Elite Pro Dual costs $149 without any drives. Storage options with standard hard drives start with 2 TB at $249 and go all the way up to 32 TB for $1,199.
