The OWC Mercury Elite Pro Dual is a deskto drive that offers up to 32 TB of storage capacity, and can transfer data at up to 1250 MBps.

Plus, there’s a 3-port USB-C hub built in, allowing the external drive to be part of a home office or small business.

OWC Mercury Elite Pro Dual offers wide compatibility

Because this drive uses USB-C, it can connect to Mac or iPad Pro. It’s also compatible with Windows. No software drivers are required.

“Available plug and play ready, the Mercury Elite Pro Dual is not only superfast, convenient, and versatile, it will quickly become the centerpiece of your digital lifestyle,” promises OWC.

Placed on a desk, the additional ports offered by the drive can add terabytes of additional storage, as well as a place to plug in a keyboard, mouse, or other USB accessories.

And OWC’s peripheral won’t take up the whole desk, as it’s 5.8 inches high and 3.3 inches wide. It weighs in under 4 pounds.

Comes in a wide array of storage options

The “dual” in its name refers to the two drive bays, which can take 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SSDs or HDDs. It includes built-in hardware RAID.

The OWC Mercury Elite Pro Dual costs $149 without any drives. Storage options with standard hard drives start with 2 TB at $249 and go all the way up to 32 TB for $1,199. When built with solid-state drives instead, this peripheral starts at 1 TB of storage for $349 and goes to 8 TB for $1,949. For more information, or to place an order, visit the OWC website.

This company makes a range of other Mac accessories too. Like the OWC ThunderBlade, an external drive that offers 16 TB of capacity, and can transfer data at 2,800 MBps.
