Apple posted a Transporter application to the Mac App Store to make it easier for creators to send content to the App Store, Apple Music, Apple Books or the iTunes Store.
Previously, this was a Java-based command-line tool, so an app should be much more user friendly.
Transporter for Mac is new developer tool
Apple told developers “The new Transporter app for macOS makes it easy to upload your binary to App Store Connect. To get started, download Transporter from the Mac App Store, and simply drag and drop your binaries into the upload window.”
The description for the newly-released software says it can handle apps, music, movies, TV shows and books.
It shows users the progress of their uploads along with validation warnings and errors. The application keeps a log of past uploads.
Transporter is available now on the Mac App Store. It’s free to download but requires a developer account to use.
