Jony Ive has one of the coolest, most suave voices among Apple’s executive leadership team. I could listen to him pronounce “aluminium” and “metallurgists” all day. Now, thanks to a creepy new soundboard, you can make Apple’s chief design officer say pretty much anything you want.
Developers Amy Hoy and Thomas Fuchs created a new website that contains over 40 of Ive’s favorite adjectives, nouns, verbs and prepositions, all of which can be linked together to turn Apple’s top designer into your own personal puppet who spits out inane designspeak.
Here’s a little ditty I made Sir Jony say this morning:
Jony says, “we can do better design but form is profoundly capable and durable and beautifully, unapol…” https://t.co/9fNcZQvjdC

You can make your own Jony Ive sentences at the Jony Jive website. Once you’ve mashed enough words together to almost form a coherent thought, you can share the utterance with your friends on Twitter, like it’s a direct quote from the design guru himself.
The crudely animated flapping jaw of the Ive portrait on the site is a bonus.
