The third big beta update for Apple Watch is here.
Two week after Apple released the second watchOS 2.0 beta, the third beta version of the Apple Watch operating system is now ready for developers to install through the Apple Dev Center.
Developers can install the new watchOS through the Apple Watch companion app for iPhone. However, keep in mind that there’s currently no way to downgrade from watchOS 2.0 beta, so do so at your own risk.
WatchOS 2.0 was announced at WWDC and revealed new features coming to Apple Watch, like new clock faces, a nighttime mode, native third-party apps, and more. WatchOS 2.0 is slated for a public release this fall alongside iOS 9 and El Capitan. Apple hasn’t sent out the release notes for watchOS 2.0 beta 3 yet, and while we’re not expecting any major changes there are certain to be a number of bug fixes, performance enhancements and tweaks added.
