Ahead of tonight’s Academy Awards, Apple released a new video celebrating how iOS devices can help filmmakers.
Called “Make a Film With iPad,” the video shows student directors from Los Angeles County High School. Directors featured include Juliet Chin, Miu Jun and Chester Milton.
During the course of the video, they use apps such as Final Draft Writer, FiLMiC Pro, GarageBand and Video Grade to make films with their iPads. As they do so, excerpts from Scorsese’s 2014 commencement speech at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts play.
