Mac gamers rejoice, as Mac game port superstar Aspyr just announced the fantastic news that the latest hilariously bloody Borderlands 2 downloadable content (DLC), “TK Baha’s Bloody Harvest,” is available for Mac on the very same day it is available for PC gamers, bringing us all closer together in our need to blast each other away in 2K Games’ brilliant first person shooter game.
As one of the best cross-platform co-operative FPS games out there on any platform, Borderlands 2 continues to bring the pain with frequent releases of modules like this one, including gems like “Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty,” “Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage,” and “Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep.” If the names don’t give it away, Borderlands 2 is a blackly comic, blood-covered frag fest with hilarious over the top tones. It’s one of the few ultra-violent games I still play these days, even with my liberal, tree-hugging, hippie weltanschauung.
Here are the details, torn directly from the Steam page.
Don’t lose your head in the Halloween-themed TK Baha’s Bloody Harvest; where the candy isn’t chocolate and there are more tricks than treats. Help zombie T.K. Baha take down the terrifying Pumpkin King, and add a new set of heads and skins to your collection. This is the first in a series of Headhunter packs for Borderlands 2; check out the new story path, bosses, heads and skins!
The downloadable content can be had for a incredibly modest $2.99 on Steam, the Mac App Store, and Aspyr’s own GameAgent website. What are you waiting for? Get shooting!
