Ember, the awesome scrapbooking tool for Mac from Realmac Software, has been updated to support Apple’s new OS X Mavericks update. It also comes with “two huge new features,” including the ability to search for colors, and the option to store your Ember library in iCloud.
One of Ember’s new features in this release is the ability to search for colors. The app analyzes your images and picks out colors, allowing you to search for things like “dark blue” or “light green.” You can also use the color picker when building a Smart Collection.
The second new feature is the ability to store your entire Ember library in iCloud. Depending on its size, it might take a while to upload initially, but after that all of your data is stored safely in the cloud.
You can download Ember 1.2 from the Mac App Store now. It’s a free update for existing users, or a $49.99 purchase for new customers.
