Quickoffice Pro HD is one of the App Store’s best third-party office suites, and until Microsoft Office hits the iPad, it’s the best way to view and edit Word and Excel documents on the go. Its latest update adds Powerpoint editing to that, in addition to native email support, an enhanced visual interface, and more.
In an update to Quickoffice Pro HD that hit the App Store today, you’ll finally find the ability to create and edit Office 2007-2010 .pptx Powerpoint documents, with “full editing capabilities across the entire Office suite and more comprehensive presentation capabilities for mobile workers.” While composing presentations, you’ll have more than 100 shapes from five different categories to choose from.
It also delivers upon a top user request which is integration with the iPad’s native Mail app, allowing you to open documents sent to your via email directly in Quickoffice. And finally, there’s now five additional localizations: Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese and Dutch.
The update is free to download if you already own Quickoffice Pro HD, or you can purchase the suite for $19.99.
