Apple Updates Java for Mac OS X 10.6 &10.7

Apple has released an update for Java on Mac OS X 10.6 and 10.7 the updates are available now via Software Update on your Mac.

Mac OS X Lion

Java for Mac OS X 10.7 Update 1 delivers improved compatibility, security, and reliability by updating Java SE 6 to 1.6.0_29.

Mac OS X Snow Leopard

Java for Mac OS X 10.6 Update 6 delivers improved compatibility, security, and reliability by updating Java SE 6 to 1.6.0_29.

If you’d like to download the update directly to install on multiple computers you can get a copy of it for Mac OS X Lion or Snow Leopard.
