Stunning Footage Shot on the iPhone 4S [Video]

You have to watch this to believe it, and then you probably still won’t. Benjamin Dowie threw together a quick series of iPhone 4S video footage and made a beautiful short film.

The iPhone 4S shoots 1080 HD video at 30 frames per second with advanced image stabilization technology. As you can see in the footage above, the camera in Apple’s newest smartphone is nothing to laugh at.

“Got an iPhone 4S yesterday and got up this morning to go for a surf. No surf, so thought I’d shoot some stuff to see what the new camera is like on the 4S. Got home, looked at the footage, and couldn’t believe it came out of a phone. Was so excited so thought I’d quickly cut a vid to share the goodness.

It’s actually amazing. The automatic stabilisation seems to work wonders, and gets rid of most the jello. Depth of field is flipping awesome. Colours are really good straight out the camera, but I did give this footage a slight grade.”

Great work, Benjamin!

Your right Alex. This is amazing. It puts the bar so much higher. What about a feature film with an iPhone 4s?

  2. Rackmaster says:

It’s a fake. Weather balloons don’t get into orbit (the balloon would expand/explode due to the lack of air pressure). And even if they did, the it takes HOURS in extreme cold: It would kill the battery life and the lens would have condensate or crack.

Shouldn’t you bee looking for conspiracy theories somewhere else?

Like several stories ago that showed an iPhone attached to a weather balloon.

actually that balloon was made out of gum that can expand itself, so it would not explode, and the iPhones were packed in hard foam ton protect them from the cold
