These Retrotastic Wooden Alarm Clocks Were Built To Hug Your iPhone

Remember that gorgeous $32 cardboard desk concept from yesterday? Wouldn’t one of these Dieter Rams inspired wooden iPhone and iPad stands by Frog look absolutely great on the corner of one?

There’s not much to these wooden stands. They’re made of carved wood with no moving parts, no paint, no dye. One resembles a kitchen radio, the other a flip alarm clock (that would look absolutely fantastic with an appropriate app), and the last a vintage television for housing your iPad. Even so, they’re clearly gorgeous… and we bet they smell pretty good too.

If you want one, Areaware will be selling these for $35 starting in September. I guess these are harder to mass produce than they look.
