AirTag 4-pack
Almost anyone in the family can benefit from an AirTag item locator.

Apple’s AirTag item tracker can help anyone who keeps misplacing things, and it’s currently available at a tasty 12% discount.

It’s good timing: With the holiday season apron us, an AirTag makes a nice present.

Stop looking, start finding with AirTags

You can attach Apple’s tracker to an item that gets misplaced frequently. If it goes missing, you can open the Find My app on your iPhone and be directed to its exact location.

That makes the gizmo a great gift for someone who’s absent-minded. Maybe it’s your spouse, or it could be your child who’d lose their head if it wasn’t permanently attached to them.

I have an AirTag (or a similar tracker) on my keys, my cat, my backpack… even a casserole carrier I take to parties. I very rarely lose things, but I do sometimes leave them behind. With a tracker tag attached, my iPhone alerts me that I left my casserole dish at my sister’s house before I get out of the neighborhood.

I go into much more detail in my review of this Apple product.

Don’t miss AirTag 4-pack at 12% off

A pack of four AirTags usually goes for $99, but Amazon dropped the bundle price down to $86.88. That gets you each one for less than $22.

A single AirTag sold by itself normally costs $29, but Amazon knocked $2 off that price. It’s not as sweet a deal as the four-pack but it’s also not as big a commitment.

You might also consider some of the alternatives. Both the Chipolo One Spot ($28) and Pebblebee Clip ($19.99) use Apple’s FindMy network, too. And they each have a built-in loop to make attachment easier.

This article was updated when Amazon’s AirtTag deal went from 20% off to 12% off.
