Apple’s M3 Pro MacBook Pros are available with up to $200 off in Amazon’s pre-Black Friday deal. This drops Apple’s latest laptops down to their lowest price within days of launch.
With Amazon’s offer, you can currently get the 14-inch M3 Pro MacBook Pro for $1,849. The 16-inch variant is available with a bigger discount of $200, bringing its price down to $2,299.

M3 Pro chip is faster and more efficient
The late 2023 MacBook Pros feature Apple’s 3nm-based M3 chips. They are notably faster than their predecessors. The M3 Pro sits right in the middle of the M3 chip family, featuring 37 billion transistors. You can configure the chip with up to 12-core CPU, 18-core GPU and 36GB of unified memory.
Interestingly, while the M3 Pro ships with 12 CPU cores, the core configuration has changed compared to its predecessor. It comes with six high-performance cores and six efficiency cores. For comparison, the M2 Pro shipped with eight performance cores. Despite that, the M3 Pro delivers better performance, though the jump might not be that big in some cases. On a positive note, the M3 Pro is notably more efficient, allowing the late 2023 MacBook Pros to last longer.
