You may have your charging needs pretty well covered at the office, but what about in your car? Nomad launched three new items Wednesday it hopes can help you out on the road — Mount, Charge Mount and 70-watt Car Charger.
New iPhone mounts for your car from Nomad
Nomad’s three new products address different mounting and charging needs in a vehicle.
Mount is just what it sounds like — a MagSafe-compatible mount to hold your iPhone in place for hands-free use. You can attach it to horizontal or vertical vents in your car’s dashboard. Made from polycarbonate and glass, the Mount offers no charging.
Charge Mount looks a lot like the Mount, but it comes with an 18W USB-C Car Charger and a USB-C cable. Like many third-party chargers, it offers 7.5W of power to an iPhone (not the 15W that Made for MagSafe gear gets you).
70W Car Charger juices up more than iPhone

Nomad’s new 70W Car Charger uses gallium nitride tech to charge two devices via USB-C ports powered by your car’s 12V socket. Using just one port gives you the full 70W, which is plenty for most laptops, not to mention iPads and iPhones. Using two splits that 50W/20W, with the blue port offering the more potent charge. The 70W Car Charger doesn’t come with cables.
