Parents should take note that Apple TV+ series or specials received over two dozen nominations for this year’s Children’s & Family Emmy Awards.

Jane, Best Foot Forward, Helpsters, Slumberkins, Ghostwriter, Snoopy Presents: Lucy’s School and Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock all landed nominations for top awards.

15 Apple TV+ childrens programs are up for Emmys

Most adults focus on shows like Ted Lasso or Silo, but Apple TV+ has a wide selection of original programs for younger viewers. And it’s these that picked up so many Emmy noms on Thursday.

Jane, the series inspired by conservationist Dr. Jane Goodall, leads the nominations with five, including Outstanding Children’s or Family Viewing Series. It’s followed by Daytime Emmy winner Helpsters with four noms, including Outstanding Preschool Series.

Best Foot Forward also landed an Outstanding Children’s or Family Viewing Series nod, alongside Slumberkins for Outstanding Preschool Series. Daytime Emmy nominee Ghostwriter got a nom for Outstanding Young Teen Series.

Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock — Night of the Lights is up for Outstanding Fiction Special and Snoopy Presents: Lucy’s School is up for Outstanding Animated Special.

Apple’s series Pinecone & Pony, Interrupting Chicken, Hello Jack! The Kindness Show, Circuit Breakers, Life by Ella, Get Rolling With Otis, Shape Island and Frog and Toad also received nominations.

The Children’s & Family Emmy Awards will be presented later this year in Los Angeles.

Watch on Apple TV

Watching any of these series comes with a subscription to Apple’s streaming service, which costs $9.99 per month. That’s for a plan with none of the commercials you want your children watching.
