Looking to get the new M3 MacBook Pro? Best Buy is taking $100 off Apple’s latest laptop, dropping its price to as low as $1,499.

The deal is available on M3 and M3 Pro variants of the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro. But to take advantage of the offer, you must be a Best Buy member.

Apple’s new MacBook Pro packs a more efficient chip

Apple’s latest MacBook Pro lineup uses a faster 3nm M3 chip. The company claims the SoC is 30% faster than the M1, with the revamped GPU delivering significant gains in gaming. Barring the improved chip, though, the new MacBook Pros are the same as their early 2023 models.

The entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro replaces the 13-inch model and features cut-down specs. Still, it is a significant upgrade over the 13-inch MacBook Pro, with a 120Hz Liquid Retina XDR ProMotion display, a dedicated HDMI port and SD card slot, and a 1080p FaceTime camera. It gets a big price cut and now starts from $1,599. Take advantage of Best Buy’s deal, though, and you can get it for $1,499.

M3 MacBook Pro gets its first discount

Similar to Amazon Prime, Best Buy provides a Plus and Total subscription to its loyal customers. With My Best Buy Plus, you get exclusive access to great deals, free 2-day shipping, and an extended return period of 60 days. This plan costs $49.99 yearly.

With a Best Buy Total membership, which costs $179.99, you get two years of additional protection on your purchased products purchase and 24*7 tech support access.

If you have a Plus membership, you can save $100 on the M3 or M3 Pro-equipped MacBook Pro. And with a Best Buy Total subscription, you get $100 off and a free AppleCare+ subscription for two additional years of warranty. The latter does not include Theft and Loss insurance, but given you get it for free with your membership, there’s little reason to complain.
