Designer and Apple fan Basic Apple Guy is nothing if not lightning quick with his new wallpapers. His Wonderlust Apple Event Wallpapers came out almost immediately Tuesday after Apple issued its September event invite.

Basic Apple Guy (BAG)’s new wallpapers appear in the Habadashery section of his website. And you can find them all there, including items we recently covered, like “Flow,” inspired by cable management, a gorgeous space shot called “Trip Around the Sun” and “Midnight Mac,” based on Edward Hopper’s Nighthawks painting.

Wonderlust Apple Event Wallpapers are no different, though the speed with which they were made and posted after Apple’s invite went out is impressive.

Here’s how Basic Apple Guy introduced it, playing up the event-invite-induced easter-egg hunting and quest for meaning D. Griffin Jones wrote about on Cult of Mac.

As BAG said:

Apple has just released invites for their Wonderlust Apple Event, rumoured to be where they announce the iPhone 15 & 15 Pro, along with updates to the Apple Watch, and maybe more?!

We have just two weeks to dissect every pixel forensically to figure out every cryptic detail Apple has embedded in this year’s September event (Spoiler: it’s usually nothing or, at most, a small easter egg). But in the meantime, enjoy this quickly assembled trio of wallpapers for your iPad, Mac, and iPhone, rocking the invite design and getting you hyped ahead of September 12. Enjoy.
