Baseus Technology unveiled its Red Dot Design-awarded Baseus Metal Gleam 7-in-1 Docking Station Thursday. It supports ultra-high-def 4K@60Hz resolution for content output.

The company touted an absurdly low-sounding price of $19.99. “It has no match in its tier with a competitive price of $19.99 since the passkey to access such a high-resolution hub is way higher,” the company said.

The dock‘s HMDI port allow output of 4K content for high image quality in videos, movies and gameplay, Baseus said.

“Why can’t docking stations be as widely recognized as chargers? We aim to bring docking stations into every household!” said Baseus CEO Shiyou He.

PD 100W charging

The docking station’s USB-C port supports up to 100W power delivery for charging a laptop, “giving back the port that was taken for devices with just a single USB-C port,” as Baseus put it.

And the connector is also backward-compatible so you can fast-charge other USB-C devices, like smartphones and tablets.

Speedy data transfer:

  • 3 USB-A ports each support USB 3.0 with up to 5Gbps data transfer speed.
  • 2 card readers for TF and SD cards allow transfer of images/videos/files from devices like cameras, dashcams, Bluetooth speakers and more.

7-in-1 port lineup:

  • USB-C input – 100W
  • HDMI – 4K@60Hz
  • SD Card – 60MB/s
  • Micro SD – 60MB/s
  • 3 USB3.0 – 5Gbps

Baseus’ new 7-in-1 docking station works with most operating systems, including macOS, Windows, Linux, Vista and more. You can pick it up for $19.99.
