You can expect a new color for Apple Watch Series 9 — pink — and a new black titanium case for the second-gen Apple Watch Ultra, according to a reliable leaker.
If Apple remains true to its usual scheduling, we should see both new items in September at an event unveiling the iPhone 15 lineup.
Apple Watch 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 may add new colors
Reliable leaker ShrimpApplePro tweeted Tuesday about the possible new pink aluminum color for Apple Watch Series 9 and the black titanium case for Apple Watch Ultra 2.
The tweet about the new pink color also referred to the expectation there would be no design change to Apple Watch, although it might come with a new chip inside (based on iPhone 13’s A15 Bionic). The leaker said the Apple Watch will come in a smaller box for environmental reasons.
The new pink color would come in the aluminum version of Apple Watch Series 9. It would join the existing colors, silver, Product(Red), starlight and midnight. The stainless-steel model comes in Silver, gold and graphite.
ShrimpApplePro made reasonably accurate color predictions for Apple Watch Series 8.

The previously predicted black titanium case for the rugged Apple Watch Ultra may come true for Series 2, adding a second option to the current plain titanium finish.
Other rumors state that the new Ultra will be made with 3D-printed components for the first time. And it may sport a faster S9 chip, as Bloomberg predicted.
