EarFun Air S noise-canceling wireless earbuds just hit their lowest price ever — $37.99.

You simply don’t find this quality at that price, so if you’re in the market for earbuds, take that into consideration.

EarFun Air S noise-canceling wireless earbuds

I reviewed EarFun Air S back in September 2022, giving the earbuds 3.5 out of 5 stars. The buds get high marks for sound quality and feature set, but I found their fit a bit lacking.

I noted the following regarding sound quality:

Featuring 10mm wool composite drivers and three Bluetooth codecs (SBC, AAC and the high-quality Qualcomm aptX), EarFun Air S deliver good sound on par with various bigger-brand buds, which are often more expensive than these. Call quality is also good thanks to that Qualcomm chipset.

But when it came to the other key factor with earbuds — comfortable fit — I said this:

These buds, like many, come with several sizes of ear tips to help you find a good fit. But I found changing tips didn’t help much. For me, the body of each bud was too bulbous to allow the ear tip to quite fit far enough into my ear.

So I couldn’t quite get a good seal in the ear canal and the full extent of the sound was not quite present enough. I could tell the sound had good balance and detail, but I couldn’t hear it well enough.

Your mileage may vary

Take note that audio quality and fit are both highly subjective. What works for me might not work for you and vice versa. Regarding fit, it simply depends on ear shape and size. If these fit snugly in your ear canal, you’ll get the full benefit of the sound.

I simply tend to do better with stemless earbuds with a smaller body when it comes to fit.

Other key features of Air S are a low-latency mode for gamers, easy switching between two devices and an app that lets you use certain controls.

The charging case powers up via wireless or USB-C charging. And battery life gives you up to 30 hours of playtime — 6 hours with the buds plus an additional 24 with the charging case.

Features:

  • EarFun Audio App lets you personalize the earbuds.
  • Connect to two devices at once with easy switching.
  • Qualcomm QCC3040 SoC with aptX audio technology
  • Feed-forward active noise cancellation (ANC) up to 30dB
  • Bluetooth 5.2 offers a stable connection and 15m range.
  • Qualcomm TrueWireless Mirroring technology

  • Up to 30-hour playtime: six hours + 24 hours with charging case

  • Wireless charging or USB-C charging
