I reviewed Earfun Air Pro 3 back in late January of this year, just before the product launched.
“True to form, EarFun brings good value for the price with these buds, as it has with others,” I wrote in my review, giving the buds 3.5 out of 5 stars. “EarFun finds a sweet spot where good sound and quality features meet a reasonable asking price.”
That reasonable asking price is normally $79.99. That’s a good price for well-equipped active noise canceling (ANC) earbuds like these.
And regarding quality audio, Air Pro 3 offers the Qualcomm QCC3071 chip with aptX adaptive audio for high-quality wireless sound. And it also offers Bluetooth LE, the latest wireless connectivity standard, which can also mean better call and streaming audio quality.
“While I find EarFun’s earbuds don’t quite compare to my AirPods Pro (2nd generation) earbuds with their H2 chip for great sound quality, they’re not too far behind,” I wrote, comparing them favorably to excellent products from Soundcore, Edifier and Jabra.
But even for someone in the Apple ecosystem, these are good earbuds. They offer quality sound, a good fit, solid ANC, an app for customizing audio and more.
