Connect the Satechi Thunderbolt 4 Multimedia Pro Dock to a Mac to get access to no less than 16 ports. There’s a plethora of video ports, high-speed USB ports, card readers, Ethernet and more.

The dock launched Thursday, and is compatible with both Mac and Windows.

Satechi Thunderbolt 4 Multimedia Pro Dock offers an ocean of ports

While the old saying goes one can never be too rich, too good looking or have too many ports, Satechi is pressing that last one to the limits.

The list starts with two DisplayPort ports and two HDMI 2.1 ports. These offer up to four screens at 4K and 60Hz, depending on the capabilities of the computer. It does not add additional screens to basic M1 or M2 Macs that are limited to a single external display.

The Satechi Thunderbolt 4 Multimedia Pro Dock boasts no less than seven USB ports. There’s a single USB-C port as well as three USB-A ports that all support 10Gbps data transfers. Two more USB-A ports offer 5Gbps. A final USB-A port offers 7.5 watts of power and is intended for charging another device, like an iPhone.

The only Thunderbolt port connects the dock to the host computer. This can carry up to 96W.

Satechi built in both SD and microSD card readers. An Ethernet port supports connection speeds up to 2.5 Gbps. Plus there’s a 3.5mm audio jack.

The exterior is aluminum with silicone rubber sides in space gray and black. It can sit up vertically or lie down horizontally.
