Bluetti noticed a gap in the portable power market. There are many solar power stations, but small ones offer questionable capacity. And the high-capacity power banks tend to be big and heavy.

What about a power station that combines flexibility and extensible capacity to meet different needs in different scenarios? Enter the Bluetti AC60 and B80. The AC60 — Bluetti’s smallest solar generator yet — arrives at the end of April with a highly portable design you can take anywhere. And you can expand its capacity as necessary with B80 batteries for your camping trips and other uses.

The Bluetti AC60 is a solar generator with a 600W inverter and a 403Wh LFP battery that can add B80 batteries to boost capacity. It’s compact and lightweight — measuring 11.4 inches by 8.1 inches by 9.2 inches, and weighing 18.9 pounds — so you can easily carry it outdoors.

And because the AC60 comes equipped with seven different outlets, it can charge a variety of devices. You get two AC outputs, one USB-C port with up to 100W power delivery, two additional USB-C ports, one cigarette-lighter port and a wireless charging pad.

Despite its small size, the AC60 packs a punch. While it features a 600W pure sine wave inverter, it can charge a 1,200W device for a short period in its Power Lifting Mode.

Waterproof and dustproof

Bluetti upgraded the AC60’s internal structure from previous models, isolating its circuits from fan vents and ensuring all external materials pass waterproof and dustproof testing.

The device is rated IP65 for water and dust protection. That makes it a perfect power source for various outdoor activities like overlanding, beach camping and more.

Fast, silent charging

The AC60 supports charging four ways: via adapter, car, solar and generator. With 600W AC turbocharging, it takes just 40 minutes to recharge AC60 from fully drained to 80% capacity.

The unit operates quietly at 45dB, or below 40dB when in Silent Charging Mode. That makes it ideal in confined spaces such as a room or a tent.

Smart power-saving modes

Featuring advanced Eco mode, the AC60 will automatically shut off to save power if no loads are connected.

For powering small loads, AC and DC outputs can be adjusted separately to 10W-30W or 5W-20W via the Bluetti app. That can reduce the AC60’s self-consumption and keep it running for up to four hours. Moreover, it has ultra-low stand-by loss when not in use.

Easy to monitor and control

The AC60 is both high-tech and user-friendly. It features an intuitive color LCD screen that displays battery percentage, charge/discharge time remaining, output/input power and other helpful information.

In addition, the Bluetti app offers real-time monitoring and control from anywhere for ongoing management.

What is the B80 expansion battery?

Designed to complement the AC60, the B80 expansion battery uses the same reliable LFP cells, the most stable and safest battery for energy storage that delivers more than 3,500 cycles.

Two B80s, at 806Wh each, can expand the capacity of an AC60 to a maximum of 2,015Wh. The B80 also can work as a stand-alone DC power source with three DC ports: USB-A, USB-C and a car outlet.

It also can be recharged on its own via its input ports or in connection with the AC60.

Reliable and safe

Just as reliable and safe as the AC60, the B80 comes with an advanced battery-management system to ensure maximum efficiency and prevent over-voltage, over-temperature, short circuits and other problems.

Bluetti also provides a six-year warranty for worry-free use and peace of mind.

Compact size for outdoor use

Ever bought new shoes? The AC60 and B80 are about the size of the box your shoes came in.

They both come with solid, fold-down handles, making them easy to carry and store during RV trips or outdoor activities.

Price and availability

Bluetti says the AC60 and B80 will be available on the company’s website and in its Amazon stores starting in late April. Bluetti hasn’t revealed the price yet, but it told Cult of Mac the AC60 and B80 combo will be affordable.
