2022 iPad Pro is all about the M2 chip

Apple announced the 2022 iPad Pro with the faster M2 chip in October 2022. The new lineup does not pack any noticeable improvements or enhancements, with the M2 chip being the sole major upgrade.

Apple promises the M2’s’ 8-core CPU is up to 15% faster than M1, and its 10-core GPU delivers up to 35% faster graphics performance. The same SoC also powers the M2 MacBook Air, the 2023 Mac mini and the 13.3-inch MacBook Pro.

Faster Wi-Fi 6E connectivity is the other major upgrade, but you must have a compatible router to take advantage of this.

With so much power, you can easily use the 11-inch iPad Pro to edit heavy photos and videos. You can even hook it up to an external monitor and run eight apps simultaneously for an even better multitasking experience.

The discounts on the 1TB and 2TB models drop the 11-inch iPad Pro to its lowest-ever price.

Sadly, there are no deals on the lower storage tier of the tablet. But if you plan to use the iPad Pro as a MacBook replacement, go for at least 512GB storage to avoid any storage issues. With the money saved, you can go for the Apple Pencil (2nd gen) and let your creativity flow freely.
