The Scosche BaseLynx 2.0 Modular Charging System lets users mix and match the units they need to power up iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad or other devices.
The accessory-maker also used CES 2023 to unveil a variety of other chargers.
Scosche BaseLynx 2.0 Modular Charging System
The range of Apple devices require a surprising number of charging methods: USB-C for Mac and iPad, Lightning for iPad and one just for Apple Watch. Individuals or families that have multiple devices can end up with an octopus of charging cables.
Scosche’s BaseLynx 2.0 is a customizable system that allows users to mix and match the modules they need, and then combine them into a single unit. If a user adds an Apple device later, the associated BaseLynx charger can be plugged into the main unit.
Or the system can be purchased as a kit with the most popular modules. One possibility is the white Pro Kit (shown above) which includes a 2-in-1 iPhone/AirPods Charging stand with MagSafe, Magnetic Charger for Apple Watch, Vertical Multi-Device Charging Station and Powered End Cap.
Scoshe’s BaseLynx 2.0 Modular Charging System in white will be available at Apple.com and in select Apple stores Spring 2023. Versions in black will debut in summer from scosche.com. Prices for individual charging modules range from $49.95 to $69.95.
This is an improved version of the original BaseLynx – it’s smaller and offers more charging power.
More upcoming Scosche charger options

And the Scosche MagicMount Elite Charge Premium Wireless Charging Stand is a MagSafe puck that unfolds to hold up a compatible iPhone. It’ll launch this fall for $49.99.
