A super-size iPad Pro supposedly on Apple’s docket for 2024 has been cancelled or delayed, according to an analyst who previously indicated a 14.1-inch model was on the way.

So while Apple is expected to slightly increase the screen sizes of the iPad Pro line, an even larger model isn’t in development.

Analyst: No 14.1-inch iPad Pro currently in development

12.9- and 11-inch iPad Pro models have been in available since 2018. And the largest model was Apple’s best seller during the third quarter of 2022.

That may have inspired Cupertino to consider going even bigger. An unconfirmed report from 2021 indicated Apple is “exploring larger iPads.” And 2022, Ross Young from Display Supply Chain Consultants said a 14.1-inch iPad Pro could be out as early as 2023.

However, on Thursday, Young told MacRumors that the larger model has since been dropped or indefinitely delayed.

Which means the 13-inch iPad Pro will remain the biggest on the market for the foreseeable future. Unless one counts the rumored 20-inch MacBook that unfold into a giant iPad.
