2022 MacBook Air is slim and powerful

Announced at WWDC22, Apple’s 2022 MacBook Air features a redesigned chassis. Its design is similar to the 2021 MacBook Pros, but there’s no dedicated HDMI port and SD card slot. You only get two USB4/Thunderbolt ports along with a MagSafe port. The latter allows the M2 Air to fast charge to 50% in 30 minutes. You must use a 67W power adapter for this.

Besides the new chassis, the 2022 MacBook Air packs a larger 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display with a rated brightness of 500 nits. And despite being thinner and lighter than its predecessor, Apple claims M2 MacBook Air can last up to 18 hours.

The 2022 MacBook Air is no slouch in the performance department either. Its M2 chip packs an 18% faster CPU, while the GPU is about 30% faster.

All M2 MacBook Air reviews unanimously praised the machine for its beautiful new design and fast performance. It is not without issues, though. The 256GB model uses a notably slower SSD than the 512GB and higher storage models.

Get the M2 MacBook Air with a $200 discount

At $1,199, the M2 MacBook Air is $200 more expensive than the M1 Air. However, Amazon’s latest deal drops the 2022 MacBook Air to the same price as its 2020 sibling. This makes the new MacBook Air a no-brainer as it delivers a better experience in almost every aspect.

Selected M2 MacBook Air colors are in stock and available at the discounted price. So place your order today if you want the machine delivered before Christmas.
