Apple TV+ received five nominations for the 32nd Annual Gotham Awards Tuesday, including two nominations apiece for the series Pachinko and Severance and one for the film Causeway.

This comes after Apple took two wins in the 2021 Gotham Awards, which recognize visionary work in indie film and TV. This year’s awards ceremony takes place November 28.

Apple TV+ series Pachinko and Severance got nominations in the Breakthrough Series category as well as one acting nomination apiece.

In the Outstanding Performance in a New Series category, Britt Lower got a nod for her works in the Emmy-nominated psychological thriller Severance. And Minha Kim was nominated in the same category for Humanitas Prize-winning series Pachinko.

In addition to those, a first-time nomination for Outstanding Supporting Performance went to Brian Tyree Henry in the film Causeway, starring Jennifer Lawrence. It was selected recently in the Toronto International Film Festival and the BFI London Film Festival.

Previous wins

Apple TV+ chalked up two wins in 2021 Gotham Awards. The were for Best Film Oscar-winner CODA, including Breakthrough Performer Emilia Jones and Outstanding Supporting Performance by Troy Kotsur.

The 32nd Annual Gotham Awards will recognize winners in a ceremony at Cipriani Wall Street on Monday, November 28.
