In the show, Ella (played by Lily Brooks O’Briant of The Big Show Show and The Tick) just survived a run-in with cancer, and it’s given her a new perspective on life. She is ready to tackle everything she was too afraid of before, and won’t let fake friends and mean social media posts distract her.
Life By Ella was created and written by Jeff Hodsden and Tim Pollock, both of whom wrote for Disney’s Bunk’d. Also starring in the new Apple TV+ series are Artyon Celestine (Drama Club, Claws) and Vanessa Carrasco (Irreplaceable You).
Life By Ella premieres on Apple TV+ on Friday, September 2. Here’s that trailer:
