Apple is bundling a $50 gift card if you purchase an Apple TV 4K or Apple TV HD in the United States. The offer is exclusively available through its online store.
Before making this promotion live, Apple took down its online store for a few hours earlier in the day.

Offer limited to Apple’s online store
Apple is running the promotion from July 1 to July 14. It is only applicable for purchases through its online store. You won’t get the $50 gift card if you buy an Apple TV from Apple’s retail store. Individual customers are eligible for the offer but there’s a limit of two units per account.
You get the gift card irrespective of whether you pick the 32GB or 64GB storage variant.
Apple rarely runs such promotional offers on its products. It is likely running this campaign to clear the existing Apple TV inventory before debuting a new model later this year. Rumors indicate the next Apple TV could feature a more powerful A14 chip and 4GB RAM.
If you want a streaming box for playing back content from Netflix, Apple TV+ and other services, the Apple TV is a great choice. Plus, if you’re a Comcast subscriber, you can ditch the cable box for the recently-announced Xfinity Apple TV streaming app instead.
$50 gift card makes Apple TV a bit more affordable
Apple TV HD retails for $149, while the 4K version sells for $179. That’s on the expensive side compared to the competition. Apple’s promotion helps make the streaming box a bit more affordable. But that’s only if you intend to buy more Apple products or services in the near future.
The card can be used for purchasing anything from Apple, including Macs, iPhones, App Store purchases, iCloud storage space, subscription services and more.
