Mix the classic Frogger arcade game with Raiders of the Lost Ark and you get Frogger and the Rumbling Ruins. Jump through puzzle-ridden ruins to unravel their mysteries.

The puzzle game from Konami debuted Friday on the Apple Arcade subscription service.

If Indiana Jones was an amphibian, you’d get Frogger and the Rumbling Ruins

Frogger’s friend Newt sends him on a quest to find the treasure of an ancient frog tribe hidden in distant ruins.

In Konami’s Frogger and the Rumbling Ruins, players aren’t just guiding the titular frog, they’re also moving the terrain. The goal is to solve three-dimensional puzzles to help Frogger reach his destination.

There are more than 100 stages with all sorts of traps and enemies. And perhaps a ferocious boss to defeat at the end.

Frogger and the Rumbling Ruins is ready to download now in Apple Arcade section of the App Store. There are versions for iPhone, Mac, iPad and Apple TV. No matter the platform, an external game controller is an option.

This isn’t the only Konami game in Apple Arcade. Most notably, there’s Frogger in Toy Town. But there’s also Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls. Plus there are more than 200 other games of many genres in the service.

Any or all of these can be enjoyed with a single $4.99-a-month subscription to Apple Arcade. And a family can share a subscription. Players can be assured that there are zero in-app purchases, ads or loot boxes.
