2021 Apple TV 4K is all about the redesigned Siri Remote

The Apple TV 4K was last refreshed in 2021 with a faster A12 Bionic chip and playback support for 4K HDR Dolby Vision content. The chip may not be the fastest around, but it packs enough horsepower for powering tvOS and all the apps available for the platform.

For connectivity, the streaming box features an HDMI 2.1 port, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.0.

More importantly, the 2021 Apple TV 4K comes with a redesigned Siri Remote featuring a touch-enabled clickpad that makes it significantly easier to navigate around the UI. It even comes with a power button, so you can turn on your TV and Apple TV with just one keypress.

Get the Apple TV 4K with a sweet 16% discount

The Apple TV 4K retails for $179 with 32GB storage. With a sweet 16% discount on Amazon, you can get it for $149.99. If you think 32GB storage won’t be enough, you can get the 64GB model for $169.99 after a similar $29 discount. That should provide you with enough room to install as many apps and games as you want.

If you already have an Apple TV and are not necessarily looking for an upgrade, you can buy the Siri Remote separately. It is usually available for $59, but Amazon is offering it for $54.98 after a discount of $4.02.

Apple is expected to announce tvOS 16 at WWDC22 next week, which should bring some notable usability improvements to its streaming box.
