You don’t have to wait months for Apple to finally show off the iPhone 14: A collection of renders based on the most reliable leaks gives the best look yet at the upcoming device. That includes the replacement for the screen notch, the expected changes to the camera hump and more.

As a bonus, the renders show the upcoming handset in purple, which supposedly will be an option.

New iPhone 14 renders look just like iPhone 13 — except purple!

The iPhone 14 is the last in a three-year product cycle, so it will look much like the iPhone 13 and iPhone 12. But there are enough changes to justify some excitement for the 2022 model.

The new renders of the next Apple handset are the creation of Ian Zelbo, who has built a reputation for transforming leaks into product designs. They are the centerpiece of the latest episode of Jon Prosser’s Front Page Tech show on YouTube.

Everything to look forward to in iPhone 14

Zelbo’s renders of the iPhone 14 Pro show the double hole-punch that’s supposed to take the place of the screen notch on the Pro models. These also allegedly will come with a 48MP camera, which will make the camera hump 5% thicker. And a new Apple A16 processor will be on the inside.

The non-Pro iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max supposedly will keep the notch and the 12MP camera from the iPhone 13. And that’s not all – they might also run on the same A15 processor as the 2021 handset. The Pro models also might come with the long-rumored always-on display,

All four iPhone 14 models reportedly will get an upgrade to an autofocus selfie cam in place of the old, fixed-focus one.

It doesn’t appear in Zelbo’s renders, but a major change in the iPhone 14 series is the end of the 5.5-inch “mini.” Instead, there’s supposed to be a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max that’s not a Pro model.

Apple is expected to introduce these iOS 16 handsets in September 2022.
