Google’s Waze navigation app makes driving a little more fun by building in support for Apple Music. This allows drivers to make changes to the music streaming through their iPhone or Android without leaving Waze.
The app already supports other music streaming services.
At last, Apple Music is available on Waze
The goal of building music services into the navigation app is to minimize the amount of time the user spends tinkering with the songs that are playing when they should have their eyes on the road.
“With a direct connection between the apps, you can now access Apple Music content directly from the Waze Audio Player,” says a post on the Waze blog. “Enjoy more than 90 million songs, tens of thousands of curated playlists, Apple Music Radio and more while you navigate.”
Google’s Waze navigation software started supporting music services way back in 2018. It took quite a long time to get around to Apple Music.
