Apple has started selling refurbished units of the Apple Watch Series 7 through its online store, nearly seven months after it first went on sale.

If you have been looking to buy a new Apple Watch on a tight budget, you cannot go wrong with Apple’s refurbished store offering.

Save up to $70 by buying a refurbished Apple Watch Series 7

Pricing for the brand new Apple Watch Series 7 41mm starts from $399, while the 45mm model is available for $429. You can grab the same models from the refurbished store for $339 and $359, respectively. There’s a similar saving of anywhere between $60 and $70 on other variants.

The Apple Watch Series 7 features a 20% bigger display than its predecessor that’s up to 70% brighter. It can charge up to 33% faster with the included charging puck, which is good enough to top up the battery from 0 to 80% in just 45 minutes.

As spotted by MacRumors, Apple is currently only offering GPS-only variants of the Apple Watch Series 7 through its refurbished store. The available casings include Starlight Aluminum Case, Green Aluminum Case, Midnight Aluminum Case, and Blue Aluminum Case — all with a matching Sport Band. The stainless steel or titanium casing models are not available for sale yet.

If you are looking to buy the cellular variant, you should regularly check the store for new additions as Apple keeps updating it almost every other day.

Refurbished Apple Watch units carry a one-year warranty

All certified refurbished Apple Watch units have the same one-year warranty that you would get with a new retail unit. They are also eligible for Apple Care+ coverage for added protection.

Additionally, all units are thoroughly inspected and cleaned, repacked in a new box, and come with a new charging puck.

You really can’t go wrong with Apple’s refurbished store and if the Apple Watch Series 7 model you want is in stock, make sure to pull the trigger on it.
