The compact new Dell Dual Charge Dock is the first laptop docking station to offer a Qi-standard wireless charging stand for smartphones and smart headphones, the company said. And it supports dual 4K monitors, making it a solid choice for home and hybrid offices.

Dell’s latest laptop dock — one of many new Dell products aimed at hybrid workers — adds a Qi wireless charging stand. It lets you see and charge your phone while you connect your laptop to monitors and peripherals.

The dock delivers 90W of charging power to your laptop over USB-C. At the same time, it offers 12W of power to your phone via the fabric-covered wireless charger.

Dell said the charging coils in the Qi portion of the dock are widely spread out. That means you can charge your phone in either portrait or landscape mode. And you can even power up a pair of wireless earbuds at the same time.

Of course, a dock is there to let you plug in a single cable to your laptop and use external displays and peripherals. For that reason, the new Dell dock has a selection of ports: four USB-A ports, one USB-C port (in addition to the USB-C cable you use to connect the dock to your laptop), an ethernet jack, HDMI 2.1, and DisplayPort 1.4 ports.

The USB-C port can supply 15W of power if you’ve got a device that you have to charge with a cable.

For all its extra utility, the Dual Charge Dock isn’t cheap. It will cost $368.99 when it comes out on May 12, the company said.
