As promised last week, Apple rolled out three new colors of its Beats Studio Buds wireless earbuds, saying you can buy them starting Wednesday (though you can find them Tuesday at the links below).

The new colors are Ocean Blue, Sunset Pink and Moon Gray. They’ll cost $149.99, just like the original colors available since the product’s launch in 2021 (black, red and white).

But with the new hues, you can only get certain colors from certain retailers.

3 new Beats Studio Buds colors exclusive to retailers

For U.S. customers interested in buying from places other than Apple/beatsbydre.com, Ocean Blue will be exclusive to Best Buy, Sunset Pink will be exclusive to Target and Moon Gray will be exclusive to Amazon. Reseller options will vary in other countries.

The new color palettes have a two-tone effect going between earbuds and charging case. The interior of the Ocean Blue case features a lighter blue and the interior of the Sunset Pink case shows a sort of lavender hue. And the Moon Gray case interior appears a bit darker than the earbuds and the outside of the case.

Model Kaia Gerber and skier Eileen Gu in ad campaign

The launch comes with a new video-game-inspired “Choose Your Player” ad campaign. The campaign features avatars of model Kaia Gerber and Olympic gold medal-winning freestyle skier Eileen Gu.

Featuring a stemless design, Beats Studio Buds feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Transparency modes. Touch controls on the exterior let you manage playback, phone calls, noise control modes and Siri activation. The buds also support hands-free “Hey ‌Siri‌” activation.

With Beats Studio Buds you also get Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos for immersive audio, but not the head tracking found on some Apple earphones.

Even without using an Apple H1 or W1 chip, the buds offer Find My support and one-touch pairing. They have a total of five microphones for phone calls and three sizes of ear tips to fit most users. A short USB-C to USB-C cable handles charging, as the case does not support wireless charging.

Where to buy: Apple / beatsbydre.com or Amazon (Moon Gray and original colors only) or Target (Sunset Pink and original colors only) or Best Buy (Ocean blue and original colors)
