The interrupted second season of Central Park will resume on March 4. The Apple TV+ musical comedy has eight more episodes with the madcap adventures of the Tillerman family.
The series has garnered multiple Emmy nominations, and the first half of the second season has a amazing 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Central Park season 2 makes New York City even odder
Central Park was created by Loren Bouchard, best know for the Fox series Bob’s Burgers. And the comedy is similarly offbeat. The main difference is the newer show has more musical numbers.
It’s about the Tillermans, who literally live in NYC’s Central Park — Owen (Leslie Odom Jr.) is the manager. Making that more exciting is Bitsy (Stanley Tucci), an unscrupulous real estate developer trying to take over the park.
Also in the second half of season two, Molly Tillerman (Emmy Raver-Lampman) experiences the trials and tribulations of adolescence, while Cole Tillerman (Tituss Burgess) is challenged by a truly embarrassing moment at school.
As a sneak peek, Apple TV+ released a musical number called “You are the Music.”
Since its debut in 2020, the series has been recognized with Emmy nominations for Leslie Odom Jr., Tituss Burgess and Stanley Tucci.
Central Park season 2 will return to Apple TV+ with three new episodes on Friday, March 4, 2022. These will be followed by one new episode weekly every Friday through April 8.
Can’t wait? The complete first season and the first half of the second season are now streaming on Apple TV+. Watching requires a $4.99-per-month subscription, but that also brings access to a wide variety of pother shows on Apple’s streaming service.
