The 2021 iPad mini is bigger and better than its predecessor in every single way. It packs a larger 8.3-inch edge-to-edge display with True Tone technology, a blazing-fast Apple A15 Bionic processor, USB-C connectivity, and Center Stage.
It’s also the first iPad mini that’s compatible with the second-generation Apple Pencil, and if you want it, you can get it with super-speedy 5G connectivity, too. But whatever you do, don’t buy yours directly from Apple.
Amazon slashes $39.01 off 2021 iPad mini
Amazon is currently offering the 2021 iPad mini with 64GB of storage for just $459.99 — down from $499. It’s currently the only model in the lineup that’s discounted, and color options are limited for the time being.
We don’t expect this discount to last very long, so you’ll need to take advantage of it as soon as possible if you’re interested. And check out Amazon’s deal on the latest Apple Pencil, which is down to $89.99 from $99.
If you’re shopping on a tighter budget, you might consider the new ninth-generation iPad instead. Prices start at $329 when you order directly from Apple, but Amazon is offering base configuration units for just $309.
