Vloggers and other content creators often use Joby’s bendable, wrappable tripods from the GorillaPod line. Now the company offers a set of Joby GripTight accessories for MagSafe, making those and other tripods easier to use.

GripTight and MagSafe: ease of use

With regular mounts, someone running around shooting video with a phone has to remove it and replace it at times in the clamping mount of their tripod. MagSafe-compatible gear makes that easier. Just stick your iPhone 12 on the mount with the magnets and go. Just snapping if off there when necessary is easy, too.

Three Joby options

Joby now sells three GripTight for MagSafe accessories. All three are compatible with Joby’s Wavo Mobile, Beamo Mini and RangePod accessories.

GripTight Mount for MagSafe

The GripTight Mount for MagSafe attaches to your iPhone 12 model with magnets, of course. But it also features a hybrid clamp for extra security. It works for both portrait and landscape modes. An included 1⁄4-inch – 20-inch tripod mount is compatible with GorillaPod or other tripods. Items like lights and microphones can connect to multiple mounting points.
