Kanye West is planning to host a third Donda listening event ahead of the album’s much-anticipated release this month. It will take place at the Soldier Field stadium in Chicago and stream exclusively on Apple Music.

Kanye fans have been impatiently waiting for Donda, the artist’s tenth studio album, to make its official debut for over a year now. It was originally scheduled to drop in late July, then pushed back to early August.

The the most recent release date we saw on Apple Music was August 15, but that came and went with no sign of Donda. It’s unclear when the album will finally drop, but there will be another opportunity to hear it soon.

Apple Music to get another Donda event

Variety reports that West has a third Donda listening event planned for Thursday, August 26. It’s expected to begin a 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT, and will be streamed live exclusively on Apple Music.

The event will take place at the Soldier Field stadium in Chicago, which holds more than 60,000 people. Those who want to attend the event in person can grab a ticket when they go on sale this Friday, the report says.

West made fairly significant changes to Donda between his first and second listening events. Fans don’t know what to expect this time around, with West still putting the finishing touches on the album ahead of its release.

Still no sign of Donda

Variety reports “the album will remain unreleased” after the August 26 teaser. It is believed West may be waiting for Drake to finish his next album, Certified Lover Boy, so that a “release-date battle” can be arranged.

While putting the finishing touches on Donda, West has been living at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. He has converted a locker room into a recording studio, which also features a single bed for him to sleep in.
