The audio limitations of Bluetooth have been much in the news lately, so Belkin picked the perfect time to launch Soundform Connect. The wireless adapter allows iPhone users to communicate to any speaker over AirPlay 2… that’s Wi-Fi and high-quality audio.

With AirPlay 2, users can stream and control audio directly from their iPhone, iPad or Mac. From your Apple device, the audio is transmitted over Wi-Fi, not Bluetooth. That means CD-quality sound: 16-bit/44.1 kHz.
Music streaming to speakers can be controlled with Siri commands. And AirPlay 2 support means Soundform Connect is integrated into Apple HomeKit smart homes. So legacy speakers can be part of scenes and automations.
